Pulmonary Rehabilitation
Being able to breathe comfortably is something many people take for granted. For those affected by chronic lung disease, such as asthma, emphysema, bronchitis and pulmonary fibrosis, shortness of breath may make the smallest task difficult to accomplish. That's where the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Randolph Health can help. The program offers services that help patients achieve a maximum level of pulmonary function and attain a better quality of life.
Treatment is coordinated by a respiratory therapist and registered nurse under the guidance of your personal physician and our medical director. An exercise physiologist then develops a customized exercise program designed to help you regain stamina, improve endurance and increase the capacity to exert yourself.
