Respiratory Therapy
Respiratory care practitioners at Randolph Health, including both respiratory therapists and respiratory therapy technicians, work to evaluate, treat and care for patients with breathing disorders. These conditions include chronic lung problems, such as asthma, bronchitis and emphysema. They also include heart attacks and accidents as well as cystic fibrosis, lung cancer and AIDS.
Our community has a growing number of individuals who have chronic lung problems, many of which require respiratory therapy and monitoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
