StayWell Senior Care
(PACE Program)
Caring for a loved one as they get older can be a challenge. Sometimes it can be overwhelming and cause the caregiver to start having health problems, as well. That’s why, in the early 1970s, the PACE model of care was developed. PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) provides an alternative to nursing home placement. It allows individuals in need of skilled nursing care to remain in their home or community setting and receive quality care from a team of clinical experts.
Who is elegible for Pace?
To enroll in the PACE program and attend StayWell Senior Care, individuals must be 55 years of age or older, reside in Randolph, Montgomery or Moore counties, be able to live safely in the community at the time of enrollment and be certified by the state of NC as needing nursing home care.
